The majority of our projects are self-led, but we also take on select commissions. Backed by 12 years of trusted contacts, we can either oversee your build or assemble a team around you — ensuring your home is realised with integrity from first sketch to final detail.

Our ethos
For us, it must feel right. We are drawn to buildings with history — the overlooked, the forgotten, the ones waiting for new purpose. Our role is to uncover that story, to restore life and meaning, and to repurpose existing spaces with sensitivity and care. From the choice of materials to the flow of light, from the local landscape to the people who will live within it — every detail is considered. The result is design that feels harmonious with its surroundings, that promotes wellbeing, and that quietly enriches both place and community.
The Studio is led by husband and wife team (Abi and Morv).
It began with a tower. Derelict, wild with potential, hidden in plain sight.
We named it 'Trevolt', 'Tre' meaning homestead in Cornish, 'volt' to speak of the building's heritage, as a former electricity substation. It was meant to be a home, which it is. But it has ended up so much more for us.
Trevolt Studio was the next step, born from our 12 + years love of bringing new life and purpose to buildings and compounded by our journey with the tower, and built on the same principles:
